Pearl Jam

Sin duda uno de los más grandes. Su primera época es insuperable.

El día que finalmente me compre “TEN” fue un éxtasis.....ya los había escuchado hacia el año 94 durante unas vacaciones en las que un amigo me los dio a conocer: me impresionaron, y me marcaron; pero tener aquel CD en mis manos significaba mucho.

En aquella época estaba descubriendo el movimiento Seattle, nuevos sonidos, nuevas bandas en mi walkman y un nuevo estilo alternativo a mis influencias más heavys de los años 80, una música que me marco y que aún hoy me emociona y me estremece.

Por aquel entonces descubrir bandas nuevas era complicado en el panorama radio musical, por lo que las bandas sonoras de películas americanas eran mi gran pasión y aquí nuevamente nos topamos con una película maravillosa: “Singles”, con dos sencillos, maravillosos,  a cual mejor.

Pearl Jam es mi pasado, buenos recuerdos siempre que los escucho, pero también es presente, ya que es una banda que ha sabido adaptarse y mantener la esencia de su música. Escuchar un nuevo trabajo siempre enriquece mis sentidos.

El single escogido podría ser perfectamente “Alive” ó “Breath” pero os pondré este, que he escuchado repetidamente por horas.

Pearl Jam is my past, good memories whenever I hear them, but it is also present, as is a band that has managed to adapt and maintain the essence of his music. Play a new job always enriches my senses.
The choice may well be single "Alive" or "Breath " but I put this, I've heard repeatedly for hours.
